Amar Mahal Palace has been converted into a museum that houses the city’s finest library with a collection of roughly 25,000 paintings and antique books. Golden throne is the main attraction of this palace. An entire series of miniatures based on the story of Nala and Damayanti can be seen in the museum. It is made of pure gold and related with the figure of lion. Now Amar Mahal palace has become a museum that is administered by the Hari-Tara Charitable Trust. It is popularly known as Amar Mahal Palace Museum.
